Manx Skull Champion with Noble Shield Bearers

Description

It is customary for a Manx Horn Champion to depart from his Ringhold at the head of the Legion he commands, upon a shield borne by his most trusted officers. This deeply ceremonial custom will once again be repeated when the Champion returns home, either standing on the shield or lying upon it. Sometimes, however, he will need to rise to a higher elevation in order to better observe the battlefield, or to be seen by his soldiers during the thick of battle. During these times, he will trust his warriors to bring him to war, and he will execute his duties from atop their shoulders.
